
Gargles are recommended for certain condition affecting the throat whilst mouthwashes are used for condition indicating the oral cavity. The method in which the preparation is identical, for each formulation.
Method;
Basically add 5 ml of an herbal extract or tincture or a combination of extracts that does not exceed 5 to 70 mls to 80 mls of water or saline solution and gargle or rinse in the mouth. Firstly, once the gargling or mouth washing has been performed the patient should expel the mixture and not to swallow it. Any unused herbal water /saline mix should be discarded.

Upper Respiratory Infection Formula :
Myrrh or propolis 35 mls
Echinacea 30 mls
Licorice root 25 mls
Total 90 mls
Mouth and Throat Formula:
Golden seal 25 mls
Gotu Kola 45 mls
Clove 5 mls
Licorice root 25 mls
Total 100 mls
Antiseptic Healing Formula :
Neem 10 mls
Calendula 20 mls
Sage 30 mls
Oregano 10 mls
Echinacea 25 mls
Licorice root 5 mls
Total 100 mls
Mouth Ulcer Relief:
Calendula 30 ml
Myrrh 30 ml
Propolis 40 ml
Note: formula is very resinous. When painted on the ulcer the alcohol dries, and the resin fixes the active components so that is not easily washed away by your salvia.
Chronic Sore Throat Gargle:
Echinacea 30 ml
Ginger 10 mls
Sage 20 mls
Propolis 30 mls
Thyme 10mls
Note: 2 ml in 10 ml as a gargle, swallow after use.
Eradication of H,Pylori in oral cavity reservoirs:
Triphasic oral treatment:
1.Ayurvedic oil pulling with coconut or sesame oil
2. Clean teeth
3.Use herbal mouth rinse (twice daily)
Herbal mouth rinse made with equal parts of, Calendula, Neem, Propolis, Myrrh.
Equal parts of Echinacea, Myrrh, Thyme.
Take 2.5 ml in 25ml water, swirl around the mouth, tongue, and gums for 60 seconds (can swallow for anti H pylori effect in the stomach).
